FAQ: events in IDA

Where can I see which events, webinars and courses IDA arranges?
IDA's many regional and professional communities arrange a wide variety of events every year. Some are fully in English, whereas others, typically social events, have Danish descriptions on the website but are organised by volunteers who are happy to speak English if needed.
If you have doubt as to whether an event is accessible to you as a non-Danish speaker, you can always contact the organiser listed on the event page (typically a professional or regional community).

How do I register to and cancel my registration for courses and events in IDA?
You register for an event, course or webinar via the registration button on the event page.
If you are not a member of IDA, you must create a user profile on My IDA to register for an event or a course.

Can I register for an event where the registration deadline has passed?
If the registration deadline for an event has passed, we cannot register participants.
There is therefore no reason to contact IDA in this regard.
I have canceled an event, why am I still being charged the participation fee?
Most events have a deadline for cancellation. If you do not meet the deadline for canceling your registration for the event, you must still pay the participation fee.
I have canceled an event, when will I get my money back?
When you have deregistered from an event with IDA, IDA will refund the participation fee to the card number used for payment within four weeks.
I have received a credit note - what is it?
A credit note is not an invoice, but simply proof that you will get money back from IDA.
