Discover Romania and Moldova, with a visit to Bulgaria.

Do you want to experience a Europe that is surprising, authentic, and full of contrasts? Then join us on a trip to Romania and Moldova, where history, culture, nature, and unique experiences go hand in hand.
We begin in Bucharest, experiencing the city’s fascinating blend of historic buildings and modern architecture. From there, we head to the legendary Carpathian Mountains to visit Bran Castle, also known as Count Dracula’s castle, and the impressive Peleș Castle. We also explore Romania’s vast salt mine in Slănic, historic Ploiești, and Snagov Monastery, where tradition holds that Vlad Țepeș (Dracula) is buried.
We also cross the border into Bulgaria to visit Ruse, Veliko Tarnovo, and the Danube before continuing to Moldova—featuring a unique overnight journey in vintage Soviet-style sleeper carriages.
In Moldova, we explore Chișinău, visit Curchi Monastery, and tour the spectacular Old Orhei site. The trip culminates at the Cricova Winery, where millions of bottles of wine are stored in some 120 kilometers of underground tunnels; here, we enjoy lunch and a wine tasting.
It is an eight-day journey filled with castles, legends, mountains, monasteries, historic cities, a Soviet-era night train, and wine deep underground. A trip for those who want to experience something a little different and return home with stories that will live long in the memory.
The trip takes place from April 14–21, 2027, accompanied by a Danish tour leader. Flights, hotels, an overnight train, excursions, several meals, entrance fees, and wine tasting are included.
