First aid training - CPR

First Aid Course in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

By participating in this first aid course with a focus on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), including the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), you will gain the knowledge and practical skills needed to respond effectively in an emergency.

The course consists of 4 hours of theory and practical training in resuscitation techniques, as well as a 30-minute sandwich break. 4,5 hors in total.

Topics covered include:

• How to recognize when a person is in cardiac arrest.
• Learning CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation).
• Using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
• Learning the Heimlich manoeuvre.
• Recognizing the signs and symptoms of life-threatening conditions such as stroke and heart attack.

If participants have specific topics they would like to have addressed, there will also be an opportunity to cover these. Please mention any requests when registering for the course.

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate of attendance.

Refreshments

Kompetenceforum Nord will provide coffee, tea, and water throughout the course, as well as a sandwich break midway through the session.
