Fra stok til vin – forår i vinmarken | From Vine to Wine – Spring in the Vineyard

Har du - og din familie - nogensinde spekuleret over, hvordan vin i international klasse kan produceres i det kølige danske klima? Nu har I chancen for at komme helt tæt på. 

IDA Vestsjælland inviterer medlemmer og deres familier til et unikt behind-the-scenes arbejdsarrangement hos STUB Vingaard, smukt beliggende på de solrige skråninger på Røsnæs.

Arrangementet starter med en kort introduktion og instruktion, hvorefter vi deltager i vinmarkens forårsklargøring, hvor præcision og timing er afgørende. Opgaven er ’at hive ud’ dvs. at trække de afklippede sidegrene fra vinstokkene ud af espalieret, så planterne får de bedste betingelser for ny vækst. Der er tale om let fysisk, men aldeles overkommeligt arbejde og alle kan være med både skolebørn, deres forældre eller bedsteforældre. Det er en oplagt mulighed for både børn og voksne til at opleve vinmarkens særlige “skeletstruktur”, inden knopperne springer ud. Efter arbejdet samles vi til et velfortjent glas vin eller saftevand og en sandwich. 

Spisning bliver udendørs ved langborde på vingårdens karakteristiske ’Tårnbakke’ eller indendørs i orangeriet, afhængigt af vejret. 

Arrangementet er uformelt, lærerigt og giver et sjældent indblik i dansk vinproduktion set med både naturens og håndværkets briller. Der vil være mulighed for at købe vine

Have you - and your family - ever wondered how world-class wine can be produced in the cool Danish climate? Now you have the chance to experience it up close. 

IDA Vestsjælland invites members and their families to a unique behind-the-scenes working event at STUB Vingaard, beautifully located on the sunny slopes of Røsnæs. The event begins with a short introduction to the task, followed by hands-on participation in the vineyard’s spring preparation, where precision and timing are crucial. The task is
‘pulling out’ all the precut branches from the vines to give the plants the best conditions for new growth. The work is light and manageable, and everyone can take part – school-age children, parents, and grandparents alike. It is a great opportunity for both children and adults to experience the vineyard’s distinctive “skeletal” structure before the buds break. 

After the work, we will gather for a well-deserved glass of wine or juice and a sandwich. The meal will be served either outdoors at the vineyard’s characteristic ‘Tower Hill’ or in the orangery, depending on the weather. 

The event is informal, educational, and offers a rare insight into Danish wine production through the lenses of both nature and craftsmanship. There will possibility to acquire wines directly from the producer; More info: https://stubwines.com/omstub
