Major Danish building owners: No to climate-damaging refrigerants

Many very large Danish building owners cannot accept the EU's slow phase-out of refrigerants in heat pumps and cooling units because emissions cause unacceptable climate impact (CO2e).
It's not unusual for four new ventilation systems to contain 120 kg of R410A in total, which is equivalent to 250,000 kg of CO2 equivalents in the event of a leak.
In addition, PFAS is often completely unacceptable.

Anders Christian Lyngtorp
Mr. Anders Christian Lyngtorp is Chief Consultant in the Department for Energy & Innovation at City of Copenhagen Properties.
He holds an MSc in Technical and Environmental Planning and has worked for the City of Copenhagen since 2014, previously serving as Head of the Department for Technical Installations and Energy.
Anders has been instrumental in implementing energy monitoring systems and energy efficiency initiatives, which contributed to the City of Copenhagen receiving the C40 award in the "Cities4Energy" category. He also coordinates the city’s international work in the field of energy and technical installations.
Prior to this, Anders was Head of the Technical Department at a major private property management company in Copenhagen. He has also worked as a strategic advisor in Corporate Social Responsibility for Denmark's public utility company.
