How to boost geothermal heat in Iceland

Geothermal Heat in Iceland is not a static resource, temperatures and flows develop over time. This means that sometime applications will have to be adapted. This project implemented booster heat pumps with natural refrigerant to ensure that the existing heating infrastructure could be used. Different grid combinations, heat pump size and strategies was evaluated.
