Heat Pumps in Complex Systems

Previously industrial refrigeration systems were auxiliary systems for some kind of production.
When industrial heat pumps began to be common it was the refrigeration industry that became the supplier.
Today, we see a general electrification of society and here we see a sectoral coupling between many and diverse energy sources. Now the refrigeration system/heat pump is not an auxiliary system but the core of an optimal utilization of energi.

This lecture is about the development and the requirements placed on modern heat pumps/cooling systems - seen through the eyes of a consultant.
