The Certified Six Sigma Green Belt is an intensive, practical seven-day course where we introduce you to the Six Sigma mindset and tools.
During the training, we teach you to work with data in a structured way. We put great effort into making the training engaging and always relevant to your company or organization, ensuring you're well-prepared to bring the tools back and implement optimization projects.

During the Certified Six Sigma Green Belt training, you will work on:

The Six Sigma training is an intensive program where we focus on a data-driven approach and how to support claims mathematically and statistically. We work through all phases of a Six Sigma project, and you will learn to set up and work with a complete DMAIC framework. We train you to work with Measurement System Analysis, Capability, Six Sigma Statistics, Hypothesis Testing, Regression, Statistical Process Control, and control plans.

During the training, you will work on your own Six Sigma project and receive guidance and support throughout the entire process. This allows you to deliver results for your company during the course, and additionally, we will train you to successfully implement Six Sigma in your own organization.

This program includes both Six Sigma Yellow Belt and Green Belt modules, together making up the Seven-Day Green Belt course, including the exam date and additional online support.

On the Certified Six Sigma Green Belt course, you will cover:

Six Sigma Yellow Belt

• Introduction to Six Sigma
• Basic Six Sigma structure
• Six Sigma project work
• Six Sigma tools
• Value stream mapping
• Six Sigma mathematics
• Measurement system analysis
• Capability and stability
• Control and sustainable changes

Exam:

• The Six Sigma Yellow Belt module concludes with a multiple-choice test consisting of 35 questions.

Six Sigma Green Belt

• Six Sigma statistics
• Hypothesis testing for normally distributed data
• Hypothesis testing for non-normally distributed data
• Regression
• Statistical process control
• Six Sigma control plans

Online support:

• As part of your Six Sigma Green Belt training, there is time allocated for online support on your project.

Exam:

• The Six Sigma Green Belt concludes with an oral project defense exam. The exam date is the last day of the course. If multiple participants from the same company are enrolled, they may take the exam together. A maximum of three people per project is allowed. During the exam, you must present your project. A total of 45 minutes is allocated for project review, and the grading follows a seven-point scale.

The course is designed for those who want to become Six Sigma project leaders, be introduced to Six Sigma, learn the structured approach to optimization, and gain the skills to implement Six Sigma in their own company or organization.

Prerequisites:

There are no prerequisites for participating in the Certified Six Sigma Yellow Belt course.
You will need to bring your own laptop with SigmaXL fully installed, which will be the primary tool used during the training. Software licenses, information, and instructions will be sent with the course introduction materials.

Kion has over 25 years of teaching experience in Lean Six Sigma. He holds the highest level of Six Sigma certification – Black Master Belt – making him one of the most highly qualified trainers in the industry. Kion has gained solid Lean Six Sigma experience through a long career with companies like General Electric, GE, in Norway and Sweden.
